The goal of every attorney is to serve their clients needs and give them the best possible legal representation—and service—that they can.
But all too often, the day ends with unfinished tasks, unreturned phone calls, hours of work left, and a question: Where did the time go?
If you’ve ever wished you could start the day over—or at least find one more hour to get caught up on the things that matter most to you and your clients—then you want to watch this on-demand webinar.
Last week, James Province aka The Tablet Lawyer and I presented a webinar and shared some useful tips for utilizing technology i.e. Office 2010 tips and tricks to selecting vendors or cloud or premise software.
Some take-aways to keep top of mind are:
- When looking at an online solution provider, do your due diligence on understanding these three things:
- Data Protection
- Data Ownership
- Data Accessibility
- Take an inventory of your current software solutions. Rate yourself, how proficient are you at using them?
- Review what challenges your law firm faces to get things done? Look for repetitive tasks and understand the processes or lack of processes you have in your law firm.
- How can you leverage technology to give you back an hour a day?
James Province used to manage his law firm using yellow legal pads. Now he leverages technology and saves time. But leveraging technology is more than just saving time, it also forces a process, consistency and accuracy in the work product you produce. This helps to minimize malpractice risks.
If you use Microsoft® Office 2010, this white paper published by the Tablet Lawyer is a must have. Click here to get your free copy!
